Chojin Aug 25th, 2009 07:56 PM

i was interested in this until i heard that it wasn't backwards compatible.

Tadao Aug 25th, 2009 08:14 PM

Milk only ages, you can't turn cheese into milk. Oh you mean the ps3.

executioneer Aug 25th, 2009 08:26 PM

hahah i love what this thread turned into, it's like a beautiful butterfly now

Dr. Boogie Aug 25th, 2009 08:30 PM

Well I'll be the first one to ask: why do they put your milk in bags instead of bottles/jugs?

In canada milk comes in bags

get it

Zomboid Aug 25th, 2009 08:41 PM

As discussed:

- It doesn't come in bags all over the place; just certain spots now, apparently.
- The bag thing seems to be a cheaper alternative for small quantities of milk that'll be used that same day.
- We don't really know :S

Phoenix Gamma Aug 25th, 2009 08:45 PM

I thought there was a whole environmental thing to it too. At least, one of my science teachers used to go on and on about how bags are better because of something sciencey.

Milk can't be backwards compatible. That's just silly.

darkvare Aug 25th, 2009 10:23 PM

i used to buy milk in bags when i lived in quebec

Dimnos Aug 25th, 2009 10:27 PM

Mexican Canadian? :hypno

Command Prompt Aug 26th, 2009 01:51 AM

Man this generation is a disaster. I've never seen 2 systems have as much wrong with them as these 2 chowderheads.

The 360 seems to be the winner, however it breaks and overheats constantly, and you have to pay to use it online, AND factor in the cost of a wifi adaptor, if you are a neat freak about cords like I am.

The PS3 is the better built system, but the controller is absolute shit, and if I had polydactyly, I could count the good games for it on one hand.

Thank god the ps2 is still around. I still can't think of a mechanical flaw for the system, and it has 1600 games for it.

Oh well. I guess after 8 years of Bush, everyone got used to lowered expectations.

Zhukov Aug 26th, 2009 10:35 AM

We get our milk in cardboard, you guys do to, right?

stevetothepast Aug 26th, 2009 12:25 PM

don't ask command prompt about milk, he's on a tiff about this gen. of consoles for the 100th time in the last 3 days.

You, sir, are a fgt and should be put down.

Command Prompt Aug 26th, 2009 02:39 PM

how deformed are your hands that those fake wanna be triggers are in any way more functional than the 360 controller and its actual triggers

Phoenix Gamma Aug 26th, 2009 02:49 PM

Deformed enough to type properly, I presume.

PS3's controller has a D-Pad that isn't shit. And I don't like the feel of the joystick or buttons on the 360. But that's neither here nor there. We're getting off topic.

Any of you guys try Lactaid? My friend has a shitload because he's lactose intolerant, but I can't imagine that it tastes as good as regular milk.

Zomboid Aug 26th, 2009 03:16 PM

I love the feel of the joysticks and triggers on the 360. Those stupid shoulder buttons and nubs on the ps3 controller really do kinda suck in comparison, but they still beat the shit outta the fucking wiimote.

But yeah, getting off topic.

I've never tried Lactaid, but I have used condensed milk in coffee. I don't like coffee, but that gross looking milk made it tolerable when I needed a caffeine fix.

stevetothepast Aug 26th, 2009 03:33 PM

I'm all about the milk in coffee, but at work all we have is this shite:

and p.s. the ps3 controller shoulder buttons suck ass.

Dimnos Aug 26th, 2009 03:35 PM

Tadao Aug 26th, 2009 04:08 PM

I once used condensed canned milk for cereal and found that it really wasn't that bad.

stevetothepast Aug 26th, 2009 04:20 PM

but what kind of cereal was it?

Tadao Aug 26th, 2009 04:32 PM

Cookie Crisp

MattJack Aug 26th, 2009 06:26 PM

bagged milk?

This is the first time I've ever heard of it.

What other quirky things does Canada have?
