nothing will come of it.

i heard on the news the other day that Bush is going to do a blanket pardon for his whole cabinet for any crimes committed during his administration, pretty cute trick, that even if it is not legal and such should make any attempt at prosecution horrifyingly difficult.

what want to see is a war crime tribunal, then we'll get some satisfaction.

hat is if you are angry about what is possibly the most corrupt government the US has ever had.

Hmm, Watergate scandal anyone?

It's disgusting how politicians get away with so much. Hopefully Bush'll be booted from office before he can get it. >:

Interesting point brought up in there - Washington just kept going "la la la, none of this is illegal!" and now they're all going to be pardoned (which kind of implies that something illegal did go on). So they're not really helping themselves much.

They're getting pardoned. That's the ultimate help you can get when you've done something illegal. Once that happens, the worst they can expect is rumors of wrongdoing, and those will be dismissed as partisan vitriol.

I'm sure they will be forever hurt by people talking about them in a bad way though!

In a way, they're the victims :\

not if you take into account they just gave 700 billion dollars to all the people they give a shit about.

plus, team obama is bein really smart, they "are just going to investigate and will not seek any prosecutions, just the facts."

with the sweet caveat: "it will be for prosecuters to decided if trials are warrented.

so we will be nice if you help us unravel this ball of string, and assholes if you try to hold us up.
