Meh, I'll just get the songs I want from i-tunes.
|
Thriller: I've never had this album, has it got filler?
|
The only filler on this set is the terrible cover versions. The rest is great

Agreed... why "artists" (and I use that term extremely loosely) such as Fergie are on this 25th anniversary album is beyond me. I'm sure they're trying to connect with a younger generation, but fuck that. You don't need to add onto one of the greatest albums ever produced. "Thriller", "Beat It", "Billie Jean"... that's more than enough. Plus the additional Vincent Price outtakes is a nice extra.

I love how Thriller actually has Vincent Price saying "ya'll".

I have the album, and i gotta say, Thriller is like one of the classic songs i hear every Halloween, and it'd be weird if i never heard it at least once a Halloween, you know?
Like how "Have Yourself a Scary Little Christmas" from Tales from the Crypt is one of my favorite Christmas albums, it took me seven years to find it, and i listen to it at least once or twice each Christmas. you should review that this Christmas i think it'd be funny hearing the Crypt eeper singing traditional songs with a morbid twist, once more, and yur opinion on it |
Original album: awesome. This album: un-awesome. I was just playing Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for genesis for the graveyard level to do the Thriller dance with the Zombies.
|
The original version of this album is definitely well worth buying.

Without a doubt, Thriller is possibly one of the biggest achievements in pop music--heck, it IS the world's bestselling album, after all.
I've especially always loved Billie Jean. The music video is pretty awesome, too. |
