Home Alone

Every 8 year old kid should be required to watch this movie. What with all the pedophiles and all.

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 25th, 2008 02:20 AM

SAW 5 :(

I remembered why I don't watch SAW movies after SAW 2.

Tadao Oct 25th, 2008 02:22 AM

I'm sure I'll like it anyways, I could give a shit about the plot, I just wanna see people punished Dante style.

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 25th, 2008 02:41 AM

It might have been a scene they replayed from the last movie but I laughed my ass off when

Spoilers!

People next to me were mad but they can fuck themselves the hard way.

A weed-action movie. There's some some funny parts but it wasn't a comedy. Most people assumed it was because Seth Rogen and James Franco were in it.

Along the same line where people didn't like the Truman show when it came out because it wasn't funny.

Spider-man 3

Even though it was a huge let down when compared to the other two movies, it's still a good movie
I just can't get over the fact how they gave Venom such a small role, he's my favorite spider-man villain :(

Can any of you nerds explain me, why does Venom have teeth and a tongue while he's in his symbiote costume, while Spider-man doesn't?

kahljorn Oct 25th, 2008 09:06 PM

a weed action movie? That's retarded. No matter how you look at it they used that typical "Stoner humor" everywhere. And that's so gay did you even see the movie? They were constantly trying to crack jokes. The first 20 minutes was a retarded stoner joke. I'm sorry but you cant make a movie like that and then try to cop out and say that it wasn't supposed to be a comedy because it wasn't funny ;/
and i dont know if you know this but the action in that movie was like LOOK AT THE STONER GO HES SO STONED HES FALLING OVER :rolleyes NOT A JOKE NOT A JOKE LOOK THEY JUST HAD A SLAP FIGHT AND PLAYED FROGS NOT A JOKE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY AT ALL
I guess my point is that if it's supposed to be an action movie it still sucks cause that was completely unentertaining action

and stoners dont even act like that

I have seen it. I've watched plenty of interviews where they stated it's a "Weed-Action" movie. Some interviews state it's a "Weed-Action Comedy" movie.

I liked the movie. I didn't think it was the greatest movie ever made or even the best movie any of the actors involved have been in. It was enjoyable though. I'm not going to condemn you to the abyss for not liking it. I might throw a jab or two though.

I thought the action in the movie was more along the lines of:

Spoilers!

Than a bunch of stoners falling down and getting hurt.

Are you going to say Hot Fuzz wasn't an action movie?

pac-man Oct 25th, 2008 11:15 PM

Ghostbusters. Possibly the greatest comedy ever.

kahljorn Oct 27th, 2008 09:14 PM

yea but hot fuzz had action scenes where they shot people and killed them all sly and cool like weed action had people falling down and calling time out.

Great movie

Tried getting my g/f to watch "The Royal Tenenbaums" and she fell asleep.

I don't think I'm going to bother with "The Life Aquatic".

bigtimecow Oct 30th, 2008 08:58 PM

speaking of wes anderson and bill murray, everyone here should watch rushmore asap

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 30th, 2008 09:02 PM

It was between Rushmore and R.T. I thought she would enjoy R.T. more.

Tadao Oct 30th, 2008 09:03 PM

Rushmore was great. So was The Royal Tenenbaums.

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 31st, 2008 08:02 PM

Being John Malkovich. Finally watched it and it was great.

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 31st, 2008 10:36 PM

Guitar Woman Nov 1st, 2008 08:41 PM

American Pop!

This is my favorite Bakshi movie so far.

Tadao Nov 1st, 2008 09:07 PM

Return to Oz. I like it.

10,000 Volt Ghost Nov 3rd, 2008 01:22 AM

Return to Oz was fucked up.

Went to Nick and Norah's infinite playlist. It was okay for a date.

kahljorn Nov 3rd, 2008 06:15 AM

royal tenebaums and rushmore and all of that guy's movies make me tired whenever i watch them ;/

10,000 Volt Ghost Nov 3rd, 2008 02:22 PM

Because they're soothingly good?

liquidstatik Nov 3rd, 2008 02:26 PM

..

Tadao Nov 3rd, 2008 02:39 PM

I think the calming is from the music and the sound of the narrators voice. It's like a winter night movie by a soothing fire or some shit.
