I love documentaries and now I have the Documentary channel. Anybody have any favorites? I recommend King Corn to all peoples.

Right now I'm watching Prophets Rising and it scares me.

I like Planet Earth

Especially in High Definition.

Paradise Lost - The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills

A fantastic documentary and well worth your time.

The Prophets on was so horibbly disturbing. It was like the Bible Camp one. I think that shit scares me more than an horror flick.

I IMDBed Paradise Lost - The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, it reminds me of a thing I saw on vampire teens. I'm sure I'm sure it's different though. Probably not. I'm all confused from 2 hours of god. :(

i like the taboo series on national geographic and pretty much everything tha has to do with insects and also the one about the chinnese elephant man

I've watched a few episodes of Taboo as well.

A good one I watched recently was "For the Bible tells me so" and it outlines how the 'family values' of the christian anti-gay sentiment was invented outside of the bible and shoe-horned the meaning into bible verses and stories that meant entirely seperate things.

I think most chain video rental places would have it. Send someone to fetch it for you.

I've always liked From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga too. I still have the same VHS copy from when I was a toddler. :)

Watch Hoop Dreams, the movie is amazing in all parts. Hands down best documentary ever made.

king of kong was fun to watch. I like anvil: the story of anvil too

And yeah, Anvil:The story of Anvil was one of the best movies that came out last year.

Is that about the band Anvil? I saw a 15 minute snipet on it on Doc Chanel.

Anvil is just stupid, though.

I like History Channel. Basicaly any documentary with tanks and planes. I also like documentaries about Asia. Esp India and China, such interesting places. ( ' - ')

Did you catch Russia: Land of the Czars? It was pretty good.

You can try and watch Jesus Camp that is if you don't get sick after the first 5 or so minutes of watching it.

Anyone kinda miss the way The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel used to be before it became nothing but 24 hours of shitty job shows? I could watch maybe a special or two on Ice road truckers, or crab fishing but damn, seasons of that?

I'd like that a lot more if I didn't know the Frenchie was such a complete douchebag. It's that thing where because someone cool is an ass, so they're not as cool to you anymore. :\
