Why can't Norm ever get a break.

You should review Dirty Work.

I love Norm Macdonald. His Bob Dole was beyond hillarious.

GingerGrrl22 Apr 29th, 2008 02:27 PM

If it weren't for the genius that is Norm MacDonald, we wouldn't have gotten the Celebrity Jeopardy SNL sketches.

The best Burt Reynolds there has ever been. Including Burt Reynolds.

Kybo Ren Apr 29th, 2008 06:46 PM

Wait, wasn't the "girls, girls, girls" skit also a skit on Saturday Night Live?

Protoclown Apr 30th, 2008 12:43 AM

I saw him do stand up at Virginia Tech and it was obvious he had nothing prepared at all. He just asked the audience "so what do you want to talk about?" and people yelled out random things, and he just rolled with whatever topics came up. He was absolutely hilarious.

Oh, and I agree about the cd. When it's good, it's real good. When it's not, it's just sort of "meh".

Why isn't Norm in more movies? He's freakin hilarious - there's just something about his delivery. Dirty Work was excellent. Ridiculous was great but far from perfect.

I never really liked Norm much until the last few years when he really started growing on me. Especially since I saw a video of him on Who Wants to be a Millionaire casually coasting through it as if it was no big deal. At the last few questions he just started guessing haphazardly and Regis talked him out of going through with it on the million-dollar question, which he would have gotten right. I love Norm, he's absolutely hilarious in an "I don't give a shit about anything" way.

I've yet to hear this though even though I've known about it for a while :(

Norm was the best Weekend Update anchor on SNL ever. After he left SNL I never watched it again.

The Tex Hooper skit is the best. The "hidden track" is also great.

Norm wrote the First gay guy sketch with Chris Farley- read in a interview somewhere.
