It's funny because I always knew Sambo as the Russian martial art. It made me wonder why they translated an intangible concept into a watermelon.

I saw this on destructoid, I had no idea sambo was a racist word. I'd never even heard of it before.

We used to go to a restaurant called Sambo's when I was very young. It was like a Denny's but with extremely racist wall paper.

I had no idea it was a racist term until I met zach and he introduced me to the sambo smilie. (I assure you, he's not a racist)
