BEST WORST MOVIE - Troll 2

So I saw this documentary this past weekend as part of the Hot Docs Film Festival here in Toronto and if anyone here has the chance to see so it, do it!

Put together by Michael Paul Stephenson, the guy who played the lead kid in Troll 2, it is a hilarious look at how all those involved with the movie are now embracing it as the giant turd it is and how the pure awfulness of the film has generated a cult following.

Hell, there were 500 people in attendance this past weekend.

Really great film filled with humor and fanboy adventures.

I saw it by chance, just looking over the film schedule and never even knew it existed until then. So I'm passing along the info to you guys.

Best Worst Movie ever.

So what's the title?

Just "Best Worst Move: Troll 2"?

Just 'Best Worst Movie'.

Actually, here's the site. http://www.bestworstmovie.com/

Been wanting to see that for a while, because yeah, Troll 2 itself is hilariously bad in so many ways. You all need to see that too.

Anybody ever seen Troll 3?

I kinda liked the original Troll, but the sequels are so bad... that I like them BETTER.

I got to actually go to the UCB theater screening of that and got to meet the creator a long with the actors, only the good ones though. Was pretty halarious and entertaining none the less.

When did UCB have a screening of that?

J. Tithonus Pednaud May 6th, 2009 08:50 PM

To my knowledge they haven't. The one in NY did...

Wait, no they didn't. They screened the Troll 2 movie with actors in attendance.

In fact, since the WORLD PREMIER at SXSW 2009, it has yet to be screened in LA.

Hmmmm.....

That is what I attended, it had nothing to do with LA because to my knowledge I didn't even know they had a UCB theater in LA.
