So what did you pick up for me Roger.... don't tell me.... you forgot :(

All Hail Duke Apr 13th, 2010 04:15 AM

i'd love to go to one of these, but my damned social anxiety, germaphobia and lack of money tends to get in the way

shadowweaver Apr 13th, 2010 05:02 AM

seriously. looks really fun, though.

Hanglyman Apr 13th, 2010 07:03 AM

Is that Dr. Phibes I see on page two? Awesome.

I think the "eerie accountant" is supposed to be the 10th Doctor from Dr. Who, judging by the TARDIS at the base, but it's not a very good likeness.

DougClayton4231 Apr 13th, 2010 09:16 AM

Wish I could have gone. I'd totally buy a Killer Klowns OST

goblyn Apr 13th, 2010 12:19 PM

why does everything fun happen in california? comic con, mosterpalooza, earthquakes...ugh, it sucks living in New England LOL!

robo_rob Apr 13th, 2010 12:22 PM

Those displays look awesome.

qovab Apr 13th, 2010 12:29 PM

Check or cash?

BatmanJohnson Apr 13th, 2010 02:07 PM

It really wasn't a good likeness of ten. It was creepy.

darkvare Apr 13th, 2010 05:43 PM

i hope you bought that soundtrack for killer klowns

Scooter Atreides Apr 13th, 2010 05:51 PM

Especially dug the old Imagineering stuff. Today's Halloween makeup, even if it's technically superior, will never match the charm of this line. All they needed was a Kooky Spooks costume to really capture the essence of Halloween in the 80s.

(P.S. I've been waiting for a site like this to do a piece on Kooky Spooks for a long time, if anyone is qualified, it's you guys.)

Mockery Apr 13th, 2010 06:06 PM

Nah, I didn't buy the soundtrack because I had already seen it cheaper on eBay. I spent $60 on this bad boy instead:

:love

DougClayton4231 Apr 13th, 2010 06:11 PM

Rog, that is amazing. Did it come with candy corn?

Tetsu Deinonychus Apr 13th, 2010 07:11 PM

Sounds like a Monster-Mash...
I'll bet it was a graveyard smash!

Sorry, I had to.

dextire Apr 14th, 2010 01:15 AM

That's a very cool show.
And you even got to see Jonathan Winters!

Are you able to take Sam's mask off to reveal what is underneath, like they (surprisingly) did in the movie?

DarkfireTaimatsu Apr 14th, 2010 01:33 AM

DIE ZOMBIES KOMMEN made me laught, I don't quite know why.

That proton pack is enviable. You couldn't pry me away from even just looking at it very easily, let me tell you.

caffman Apr 14th, 2010 04:25 AM

Absolutely no idea why, but the picture that made me nearly piss myself? Surprised Kong. Oh and that really IS a creepy ten. God knows what an eleven would look like!

Copper Apr 14th, 2010 06:42 AM

Holy crap. I didn't think Jonathan Winters was still alive *laughs* Great to hear, but damn.

Truer words were never spoken.

Also, can someone identify the critter *behind* "Another solid Frankenstein" on page 5. I'm curious.

Gourry Apr 14th, 2010 09:09 AM

When I saw the Frankenstein and Bride Pez dispensers on page 3, I immediately thought of you and Re. lol

saturnknight Apr 14th, 2010 10:02 AM

Does the mask part come off to reveal Sam's true appearance? If not it's still freaking cool and I think would be a great Halloween accessory in any haunted house

Kat Apr 14th, 2010 11:59 AM

I personally think the Bambi stuff was the scariest of all.

darkvare Apr 14th, 2010 03:33 PM

wow my dad loved trick r treat i'm gonna get one for him

Shironu-Akaineko Apr 14th, 2010 09:04 PM

Heyy, that green lady was in "Legend"!

DaTr0LL Apr 15th, 2010 02:12 AM

Was that Jonathan Winters statue for sale?

It does come with a little treat bag that he carries around, don't think there's any real candy in it. I wouldn't dare steal his candy anyway. Sam has a real mean streak you know...

Yep, you can remove the burlap sack mask to see his true face. The detail is super nice, but I don't wanna post it here in case other people haven't already seen the flick yet.

Yeah, I think it was an animatronic puppet actually. It kept asking me for its medication despite my repeatedly telling it, "Sir, I don't have any pills for you!"

Nightcrawler Apr 24th, 2010 02:11 AM

Totally awesome, old and new. I must have one of those Freddy snake heads...

twiggyiggy Jun 11th, 2011 03:57 AM

I love how next to the partially devoured lady corpse is a bag of beef jerky. Delicious.
