Every time I look at old plastic lunch boxes the first thing I always remember is the smell of stale peanut butter sandwiches and lays ranch potato chips.

I would sucker punch my grandmother for those boxes of Garbage Pail Kids. Plus I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure the Hamburglar cup is the correct one.

That Barnum & Bailey flashlight brings back memories. Damn, as kids we wanted the stupidest shit... and our parents complied.

Yes. YES! IT'S THE GODDAMNED HAMBURGLAR ONE!

You have chosen... wisely.

Depending on how much they cost, I'd be all over the Tommy pinball machine and/or the Cool Spot plush.

NINJA. PATROL.
Clearly RoG walked away with the best prize.

Wow, that's quite a fine collection of stuff. That wheelchair is terrifying!

i'm a huge sucker for 70s era toys and old electronic nonsense :< there's no shortage of thrift and antique places near me but the desire is eternal.

Wanna class up your glassware? All you gotta do is add a little Lando, baby.

The doll in the third pic on page 4 is a Little Orphan Annie doll from the 80s movie, not a Raggedy Ann

This reminds me of Historic Ellicott City! Man, I gotta do a photoventure there this summer. Awesome place, -RoG!-

I once had The Zig-Zag Comic Express wind-up toy train it was place on top of my birthday cake but once I had wind that toy train up that same day i had got it it ended up breaking right in front of me... how odd.

Great article! I love it when you go to strange places.

Those hillbilly teeth are the most disturbing thing by far. I mean they aren't in a package or anything! Buying a pair of those is like playing Russian Roulette with herpes for a bullet!

My dad has had one of those Joe Camel mugs since before I was born, it feels surreal seeing another one

I was disappointed that modern physical culture isn't like the 1896 guy too. That's why I bought my own weight set. It came with a singlet.

NINJA PATROL! Great finds, Roger!

that daffy duck hair dryer is rad

DarkfireTaimatsu May 28th, 2011 01:06 AM

I still have that Ghostbusters lunchbox, except mine is cadet blue and in much worse condition. =3

I have a few of those Three Investigators books, too. Those exact titles, even.

It's not even Batgirl (the colours are wrong), it's a gender-flipped Batman...

Awesome stuff! I still have one of those pencil sharpeners!
