I-Mockery Forum - Night Stalker

I would run though the dark woods after a night of fun with my friends. More than a few beers and I would stumble and fall down the slopes into the huge ferns that layered the B.C. forest floor. Always in your mind is that there is a presence in the forest watching you and waiting to pounce and take your soul. Sometimes If the moon was full I would become the trees and lurk though the forest hoping to come across another lost soul that I could stalk and see if I could get them to run in a panic and finally I would let out a loud laugh and disappear into the moss and glow of night. I liked the excitement of the unknown and when you would reach the streetlights and the sound of the suburban sprawl everything would dissipate and melt into a long and tiring walk home.
