Favorite Moments In Postal 2

Personally it's when i'm filling out the retarded ballot on wednesday, seeing reverends fight a holy war against the afghans, and while instead of depositing my check, I help myself out in the vault.

Great moments indeed. For me, I still think dropping a rotting cow head in the middle of a big crowd and watching them all die and/or puke up blood on one another is my favorite part. Then again, playing field hocky with the shovel and somebody's head is always nice too.

there is also a simplistic joy in chasing ladies down and pissing on them until they throw up.

The little napalm ball thing can be pretty fun when shot over the marching band. Kicking corpses on roofs and other places they shouldn't be and watching them explode is cool too.

Also, you can kick something a lot further if you kick it while in the air.

Beating the game and gaining the ability to piss napalm. Sure, running people down and peeing on them 'til they puke is fun, but running them down and peeing on them until their skin melts is even better.

The elephants are too much fun...

I take it that this game is well worth buying then?

Zbu Manowar May 4th, 2003 12:17 PM

I have no idea what this game is but from reading this thread I can tell either I need to get it or you're all making this up. ;) So, is it only on the PC and is it a FPS or TPS?

whoreable May 4th, 2003 12:31 PM

fps.

I havent played it in a while. I think there must be plenty more I havent discovered yet.

Not to shit all over the imock contest or anything, but no, it's not. It gets boring really quickly and the load times are fucking horrible. Buy it if you want, but if you're really wanting to get a new game, I'd suggest something better.

That doesn't mean it's not fun, but personally, I'd be really pissed off if I bought it without realizing how little I'm going to play it and how long it takes to load everything that it needs to.

Tropical May 4th, 2003 09:26 PM

the loading indeed is a problem, but how else are you gonna have a massive city map going on without major lag problems? The game could get boring, but most of the time I'm anxious to continue playing because you're always expecting a violent twist in the storyline later in the game. This game is a unique experience as you do things that are probally never going to happen to you in your life. Ie. Robbing a bank, setting fire to hippy ravers in a bar, assisting in a occult ritual. I mean just breaking into some guy's home is interesting. You know what i mean???

Zomboid May 4th, 2003 10:49 PM

Yeah, it's definitely an entertaining game and it's got a lot of shit that needs to be seen, but it would probably never be at the top of my list of games to get.

I have no load problems at all...but then I do have 1GB of PC3200 and a 10,000RPM Serial-ATA drive with 8MB cache. :)

I loved the marching band where the elephants are; a good lob of a Molotov and you have flaming elephants crushing the band. haha

There's nothing funnier than asking someone you just shot, who is currently crawling on the pavement clutching on to that last iota of life, "Will you sign my petition?"

Schimid May 10th, 2003 09:30 PM

I don't know. Dogs playing poker are funny too.
