Bob Dylan

Yeah, I'm a Dylan fan. Fuck you.

Royal Tenenbaum Oct 31st, 2003 12:30 PM

WTF? Is there something wrong with being a Bob Dylan fan? He's the man, period. Fucking brilliant music and lyrics.

Rongi Oct 31st, 2003 12:46 PM

Of course not

He's terrible live though :(.

Royal Tenenbaum Nov 1st, 2003 08:33 AM

He wasn't back in the day. :/ Just get old bootlegs.

Professor Cool Nov 1st, 2003 03:47 PM

Dylan is great, no shame about it.

Desire is one of my favorite albums.

Bob Dylan is also the shit because he did background vocals on the Leonard Cohen track "Don't Go Home With Your Hard-On." :)

Blood on the Tracks is probably my favourite, although pretty much everything during the 60s is really great. I love Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid too.

I have some really old tapes of his live shows. I got most of them from my mom and sister. He was fucking amazing live back then. But later on the shows got worse. I dunno what happened to his voice, they must have something in the studio that makes it sound better.

I think my favorite song is Desolation Row. Awesome lyrics.

ShanghaiOrange Nov 2nd, 2003 08:54 PM

You're just saying that because it was quoted in Watchmen.

Rongi Nov 2nd, 2003 09:01 PM

I recently saw him play with the Dead in Illinois. Its almost impossible to understand what hes singing, but his band is actually pretty good.

Miss Modular Nov 5th, 2003 01:39 AM

I saw him three years ago on my birthday. I remember him being quite good, enjoying himself.

I was shocked when he smiled. :(

Bob Dylan: Robert Zimmerman.

So many Jews in show biz... :) :yarmulke

He smiled :eek?

That must mean the Fourhorseman are out of their stables :(

My aunt knew his wife. They worked together on decorating houses. She met him once when he was looking for his wife. She said he looked mean and isolated in person :(

Which wife? Jakob's mother or the secret wife he had in the '80s?

Rongi Nov 5th, 2003 11:04 PM

Jakob's mother, I think.

Miss Modular Nov 6th, 2003 04:30 PM

Ah, thank you, sir.

Royal Tenenbaum Nov 7th, 2003 12:35 AM

Secret wives are always the best though.

Professor Cool Nov 7th, 2003 03:32 AM

How many do you have Royal?

Royal Tenenbaum Nov 7th, 2003 05:48 PM

None... yet.
