Best Snes Emulator

What would be the best Snes emulator on the basis of controller response time?

I use my xbox360 controllers to play my Snes roms, but with Znes, Snes9x, and Bnes I run into the problem of the controller being a quarter second off or so. It isn't really that bad for most games, but when you're playing MK3 or any other fighting game it really hurts you.

Maybe I just need to change a setting in the configuration? IDK GUYS

HELP ME

I don't know any emulators that are better than the ones you listed. That's pretty much all there is that's worth looking at.

(How DO you use a 360 controller on your PC, by the way?)

Microsoft makes USB 360 controllers for PCs. Have been for years now.

Also, ZSNES and SNES9x are probably your best bets. I've used ZSNES for years and it's never given me any problems.

That said, it sounds like a controller issue. I think there's been some issues with the 360PC controller, but I never actually bought one myself. Or maybe some emulation settings need to be tweeked, but I have no clue if there's any kind of "input refresh rate" kinda thing.

And if the controller's fine (check drivers? try other games?), and the emulator's fine (it should be. I use a few gamepads and have no problems), then maybe the computer is lagging? But you'd need an ancient computer to have trouble running SNES games.

Controllers are fine, and drivers are up to date. My computer is a beast too.

I will just have to fuc* with settings within each program some more. Like I said, it's only an issue really if you're playing a fighting game. It just so happens that some of my fav Snes games are fighting games ;_;

I've used snes9x with several different controllers and have never had this problem. It's the controller.

Microsoft doesn't make 360 controllers for PC. They make 360 controllers and the wired ones just work when you plug in the usb cord, if you have a wireless controller, they sell an adapter for the pc so you can also use your wireless headset

Snes9x is what I use... I don't use a controller or something.

Try skipping 1frame or something?
