This is the most beautiful thing I've read in weeks.

g_tonttu Jun 18th, 2008 04:38 AM

Brilliant. I have not red the original and now, i newer will want to do it either. Thank you Proto, you saved my tedious day.

Honestly, that has to be the ugliest Thing and Hulk ever.

peh_ Jun 18th, 2008 05:58 AM

Isn't this the original? I thought this was just a reprint and was waiting for a clever caption after...

Poxpower Jun 18th, 2008 06:50 AM

Is this the Marvel Zombies twist on Hulk vs The Thing?

It's a little gay.

Jaimas Jun 18th, 2008 09:51 AM

Only a little gay, really.

BakaGaijin Jun 18th, 2008 09:57 AM

You made milk come out my nose!

At least, I hope that was my nose.

ShadowedHogosha Jun 18th, 2008 10:59 AM

That was amazing. I died from laughter...laid there for awhile...then the thing gave me a hand job and I woke back up.=[ whats worse this time around it wasn't just on pictures...it's on youtube. >.<

Icculus Jun 18th, 2008 12:03 PM

Its like "The Crying Game"...but more gay.

Tom Foolery Jun 18th, 2008 12:43 PM

Is this supposed to take place like a hundred years in the future where the Hulk and the Thing are in their twilight years? They both look wrinkled and haggard enough to be pushing 90. It was like watching a scene from Brokeback Mountain if the main characters would have been played by Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.

Ugh -- I second that motion. That's all I could think about...

Cruxader Jun 18th, 2008 03:30 PM

Very well done sir. I like what I see and I wish to subscribe to your news letter forthwith.

Seriously, what is up with Hulks "hair-line"?

Nick Jun 18th, 2008 06:04 PM

I love how Jae Lee is too lazy to make the Thing look like he is made of stone. I suppose thinks that drawing squiggle lines on him will suffice.

PS: Hulk sitting on two bar stools at the end looks ridiculous. :(

Protoclown Jun 18th, 2008 07:00 PM

Thanks guys. I'm afraid I couldn't resist "making everyone gay" in this Protocomic. It's been a while since I've done that, after all, and this comic was screaming for it.

Julio Jun 19th, 2008 12:54 AM

Now to see the Goddamned Batman gaying around... Not!!!

darkvare Jun 19th, 2008 04:03 AM

"are you cold?. a little" you should have used that phrase

Doctor_Who Jun 19th, 2008 06:32 AM

Even though the artist clearly bet money he could draw a comic with his feet, your brilliant rewrite has made it worthwhile.

Colonel Flagg Jun 19th, 2008 12:16 PM

THAT ...... WAS ........ AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Duct Tape Ninja Jun 19th, 2008 06:04 PM

The Hulk and the Thing must be gay. I mean, with shorts THAT small.

Duct Tape Ninja Jun 20th, 2008 09:24 AM

Just look at the fight scene

Fear N Loathing Jun 21st, 2008 12:12 AM

Man, that cheered me up what with my shitty day... thx Proto

Outcome Jun 21st, 2008 01:53 PM

Funny I always thought it was the Human Torch who was secretly gay, what with the whole "Flame ON!" thing.

Hugh Jerection Jun 26th, 2008 09:34 AM

Best protocomic ever!
I'm gonna need the brain-bleach now though to shift the image of Hulk and Thing gettin it on

Count Mek Jul 4th, 2008 09:15 PM
