Whoa. I consider myself quite the old school game geek, but I've never even heard of this one. Gonna have to find the rom and try it out on Gens.

there's a code where you only play the boss battles...go to the options and put the music test on the last track, and the sound test on the last sound, and exit the options screen. begin the game and BAM...boss rush.

Riot.EXE: Sound tests were always a treat in games that deserved them for having such a badass soundtrack. Ninja Gaiden is the prime example.

The Genesis was fun. If you didn't have a SNES.

Agreed Nick. :) Hate to re-start the console war 20 years after the fact but the genesis had splatterhouse going for it and that was pretty much it. EVERY snes game even in the case of multi-platform titles was superior.

What I find hard to believe is that someone besides me remembers Tranzor-Z :P

Ok, guys. Let's hear something about this game, perhaps?
|
I owned this and Altered Beast, and that's it for the entire life span of the Genesis. I would always get to the first boss in this and die over and over again.
Now I make my significant other dress up as Medusa, put on stilts and beat me until I black out as foreplay. Frederic Wertham should have waited just a little bit longer before releasing magnum opus. |
The Genesis game General Chaos is a classic and there were a handful of others that I thought were somewhat better than SNES games, but SNES definitely had the superiority.
|
I owned both an SNES and a Genesis...fuck the console war.
