New Webzine

Anyone interested in creating an opinion/general interest webzine, say along the lines of salon.com? It wouldn't make any money at all, but I know a lot of you like to speak your minds, so it might be fun. I just thought of this like 2 minutes ago, and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in starting something.

Dude, what do you think most personal websites are about? People spouting off what is on their minds. At least, thats what mine is on.

I would be interested, but I have no time whatsoever to commit to it. When did you wanna get it going?

Blanco: I don't want it to be a personal website -- just something with a staff of writers interested in writing op-ed pieces similar to what you'd see in the editorial section of newspapers, as well as original news reports on certain events, philosophy stuff, book/movie/music/arts reviews, short stories etc. Totally volunteer stuff, but I'd like it to be somewhat professional and "good" too.

Kev: When? Haha! Who knows, hopefully soon if it gets moving. I don't want to be completely responsible for it tho, as I don't have all that much time on my hands either.

I know what you are saying, but thats what most personal sites are for. Opinions, personal works of art, movies and all that stuff. You just want yours to look polished.

I don't know how personal it would be as ideally I would only contribute a small fraction of the content, some of which may be completely counter to my own opinions. Since it is my brainchild, it would be 'personal' in that way, but if others are interested they would have their say in how it evolves, sure.

I'm definately interested. Eventhough I'm not sure if anything I have to say is what you'd want on your webzine.
