Here's the latest I-Mockery forum contest!

EA is sponsoring our latest contest to promote their new "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoneix" game and you'll have a chance to win a copy of it!

So, for this contest, we want you to create a short story or comic using screenshots from the game and word bubbles. YOU MUST USE AT LEAST 3 SCREENSHOTS for your entry to count. As usual, this contest will be judged on creativity and humor.

To help you out with your short stories/comics, we have 14 screenshots you can use:

You can also see additional graphics and the game trailer at the official web site in the "media" section: http://www.ea.com/discoverthemagic

And to further assist you, I've whipped up a quick sample so you can get a better idea about what we'll be looking for in your contest entries:

If you have any questions still, feel free to ask.

1st Place: A brand new copy of the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" game!

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about the teenager’s recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts’ venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort’s return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge’s Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves “Dumbledore’s Army,” Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.
This contest ends 7/30/07.

Fast and furious!

Excuse the unsettling background change, it was that or blurred to bits zoom-ins.

(Not pictured: Emma Watson commenting that at least neither of them has to worry about creepy dudes masturbating over pictures with "15 April 2008" circled on their calendars)

I despise Harry Potter, as it represents all that is atrocious about contemporary popular tastes in fiction. All the same, I love these contest, so here's my entry:

I could not possibly care less about this.

BUT, having sponsored contests pop up this quick is nice, so whatever.
