So I went ice skating for the first time in my life the other day, and I did alright. Only had shitty rental skates, and they killed my shins and ankles. I think I would have been much better if my feet weren't hurting so much.

Any tips? I would like to do it again, and I want to play a game of ice hockey one day :(

The first pre-season game was pretty awesome. Completely packed arena going nuts for three hours is really really awesome; I can't wait for the regular season to start up. The stuff they show on TV doesn't relate at all how loud it was in there.

Byfuglien started a fight 37 seconds into the first period :)

Winning 6-1 was also pretty sweet, but I guess that's to be expected when you play Columbus' replacements. :(

Got my season tickets. :) They came in a crazy huge blue box.

No clue what other teams do for their season tickets.

Sabres players hands delivered the season tickets this year but thats just crazy as hell. The season ticket box is cool as shit.
