So, uh, were Australian government types all collectively dropped on their heads as babies?

Are they going to issue mandatory implants to poorly-endowed women, too?

Tadao Jan 27th, 2010 11:59 PM

Who buys magazines still?

executioneer Jan 28th, 2010 01:55 AM

i'm more concerned with the "no depictions of female ejaculation", but yeah australia you need to stop it already

it also applies to videos, which i suppose are sort of obsolete too. let's hope nobody tells them that stuff is all over on the internet :lol

Not to sound pro pedo here, but I would rather have them pretending adults with small breasts are children than them stalking actual children. At least that way they had an outlet for their sickness that was not harmful to children. Now they are only encouraging these monsters to look at more kids. Poor judgement on the part of the Aussie Government

Supafly345 Jan 28th, 2010 04:45 PM

The article also says that if you are a woman that looks underage and you independantly take a picture of your breasts and upload it anywhere on teh internet you are possibly breaking the law.

Zhukov could already go to jail

Zhukov Jan 29th, 2010 11:40 AM

I don't think I have any more pictures of my bare chest on the internet after I got rid of my facebook account.

Australia is retarded.

Zhukov Jan 29th, 2010 11:51 AM

Also, the Great Australian Internet Black Hole (where the entire internet will be filtered for Australians to "protect the children") should be up and running about now. I don't go to porn sites, and all the Evil Communist sites I go to are still working fine, so I don't know if it's working or not.

Tadao Jan 29th, 2010 11:58 AM

Does NZ fall under this law. I fear for pub and his shirtless boygirls. :(

kahljorn Jan 30th, 2010 12:16 AM

we need a not safe for australia thing to protect australians :(

Burger Lord Jan 30th, 2010 01:09 AM

Wait a minute, Australia has a "Sex Party?"

Zhukov Jan 30th, 2010 10:12 AM

Well I never knew either. I'm sure that if you looked hard enough you would find a sex party in the USA as well.

Right next to Scions of the East party and Sons of the Reich party.

Isnt this a case of Australia banning a LACK of tits?

No reason to be surprised there, neither is the fact that they consider it a public service

It's AUSTRALIA

It's all pretty ridiculous, but not something I'm at all surprised about. I don't know how bad it will get in my lifetime, but rights and freedoms all over the globe are certainly going to get worse before they get better.

Sadly, that is more than likely true. Most people don't understand how important freedom is until it is taken away from them.

The Leader Mar 3rd, 2010 12:29 PM

Most people don't understand what society was like in the past and always assume when there's a speed bump in progress that everything is getting worse and things were better in the old days and blah blah blah.

Zhukov Mar 3rd, 2010 09:46 PM

Things are getting better if compared to a hundred years ago, but rights and freedoms are won and lost in cycles.

Take a look at around the time of the French revolution; things improved enormously, and then slipped back to almost what they started to (just slightly better). Then around the time of the Russian Revolutions and after the First World War, again things got very good for most of the world, (in comparison to what they were) and then concessions won were slowly taken away until after the Second World War. Then it was 68-69 when people fought for their rights and pretty much lost, more concessions were given in the 80s and 90s, and they are slowly being scaled back since 9/11.

Things aren't getting WORSE in comparison to what they were even 50 years ago (at the moment) but governments do as much as they possibly can to scale back all reforms, rights and freedoms won from unions, popular vote, protests etc. What has happened in the past is that people accept it for a certain amount of time before erupting into anger again. I'm an optimist, but whether that happens any time soon remains to be seen.
