Sorry about that.

Beginning to think I was as good as dead here.

No, I'm a glutton for punishment.

Atlanta is much improved from last year, but the Giants should be able to beat them easily, unless the same team shows up that lost to the Eagles in November. An easier call is Pittsburgh/Denver - the Stillers are the far better team on paper, and on the field. The only thing is if TeBow has another miracle comeback in him this year?

Here's to next week, which should have the much better games.

Yes, that's what I said. Hoo boy.

AChimp Jan 8th, 2012 09:24 PM

I think Tebow was hiding that throwing arm all season. I was expecting the Broncos to get slaughtered.

Pentegarn Jan 9th, 2012 12:18 PM

The problem is that the Steelers tried to Tebow Tebow, and then got out Tebowed themselves in the end. This is why martial arts masters always beat the shit out of their own impertinent students when they challenge the master. You can't beat a master in his own dojo and you can't out Tebow Tim Tebow.

Colonel Flagg Jan 9th, 2012 02:30 PM

You said "Tebow" 5 times in that last post. YOU HAVE SEALED YOUR DOOM!

MailCall Jan 14th, 2012 08:13 PM

Holy sh*t...tip the hat to the 'Niners.

Phoenix Gamma Jan 15th, 2012 12:30 AM

I vote Tom Brady troll of the year.

Colonel Flagg Jan 15th, 2012 11:40 AM

Meh to both games. Bring on Green Bay and the Giants.

AChimp Jan 15th, 2012 12:10 PM

How about that Tebow? :lol

Would have happened last week if the Steelers had been healthy and not trying to screw around.

All Hail Duke Jan 15th, 2012 08:44 PM

green bay, what the fuck >:

Pentegarn Jan 16th, 2012 12:22 AM

Turns out Defense does win championships, 75% of the teams left have great defenses.

Would have been 100% of them had Tebow had another Tebow in him this year though.

MailCall Jan 16th, 2012 05:13 PM

Things seem to be falling right into place for New England. I don't have a rooting interest in the post-season from here on. The Pats have the O. The 'Niners have the D. New York has the momentum. And the Ravens have Ozzie Newsome as GM.:lol

All Hail Duke Jan 22nd, 2012 11:44 PM

go giants i guess, hoping they repeat in beating those queefs in the super bowl

Geggy Jan 23rd, 2012 10:49 AM

Go pats! Bring another one home! The rest of the world can suck it

Pentegarn Jan 23rd, 2012 11:33 AM

Or lose to the Giants again so they can bring another public tantrum by Belichick home. Either or.

Colonel Flagg Feb 5th, 2012 09:48 PM

Just saw Ahmad Bradshaw run for the go-ahead touchdown. The hot-dog move at the end, stopping at the goal line and falling backward into the end zone will probably make coach Bellicose lose sleep for about 2 months. And that is not a bad thing.

Colonel Flagg Feb 5th, 2012 09:54 PM

Back to you, Pentegarn.

That was not a hot dog move, that was an 'oops I was hoping not to score just yet' move. Turns out he needn't have worried, but it was clear on that play that the Pats deliberately let the Giants score so they would have more time to score themselves. The Giants clearly wanted to do the old 3 runs and a go ahead field goal limiting the Pats time for a comeback even further though.

Colonel Flagg Feb 6th, 2012 01:29 PM

They needn't have worried - their defense was stellar with only a few breakdowns during the game. Still, it shows again why I'm a better fan than a coach.

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 6th, 2012 02:39 PM

During the coin flip too the patriots refused to shake hands. I hope next year they rename the team to the New England Hatriots because they are a bunch of haters.

Pentegarn Feb 6th, 2012 11:44 PM

Are you surprised? They just follow the Hoodie's example. He stalked off before the clock ran out the first time the Giants beat them thus avoiding the good sportsmanship that the post game handshake would require.

10,000 Volt Ghost Feb 7th, 2012 05:17 PM

Belichek is such a class act though. He probably had some fancy dinner party he was late for.
