Yesterday, John Dean, Nixons counsel and a man familair with Presidential abuse of power, said W was the first president to publicly admit to an impeachable offense.



The Nixonization of the Bush administration is already underway.

We keep hearing about those CIA-flights on the news all the time.

They appear out of nowhere, grab some unexpecting bloke in the middle of nowhere, put shackles and a diaper on him, sedates him and then off they go to some third world torture chamber.

At least they get to see the world, them CIA-agents.

Lets just wait to see what happens, sometimes the toughest times turn out to be the easiest for scumbags to wiggle their way out off, remember both jackson trials?

I think it will not be any tougher than 2001-2005.

During these years he had to deal with terrorism and foreign threats, as well as had to deal with an economy that was perceptibly damaged after the largest attack on US soil in history since the Civil War, (technically Pearl Harbor was not an attack on US soil, but rather an attack on a US territory being Hawaii was not yet a state).

True, he had a lot of shit on his plate during his first term, but most of it was due to outside influences. This time, it is his own country giving him the porblems. He can't bomb this away like he did the last time. He doesn't have a 9/11 to fall back on when it comes to his inability to give up torturr OR spying.

While I don't think he will be impeached, I hope at least some of the shit hits the fan.

I think the opponents will try very hard, and they may even score a lot of points against him, but how much of it will stick?

Pres. Bush has done things you do not like, but can one necessarily say that all of these things are solely his doing, and trying to pin Abramoff on him or trying to pin a lot of the issues facing GOP on him is pretty wrong.

Things seem so intensified since the second term of Pres. Clinton. Since the Republican Renaissance of the mid-nineties politics has become the worst batch there is in the US, entirely rooted in scandal.

My theory: since the end of the Cold War the American people feel no necessity in unity behind their President. So politics becomes dirty.

but there's a new cold war, with a hot war too, and this time our enemy is so nebulous it can't collapse like communism!

Now we are a culture of L-O-S-E-R-S.

Even the fucking Korean youth have organizations like Buminryun, and they have more loyalty to the enemy than their own government. They view the most valuable allie of the United States, who kept us from becoming a terrible Communist state, as the actual threat to peace.

The absurdity of it frustrates me too much.

Our society is collapsed and dead, and we will never be put back together again. We are the past and China is the future because they have cultural solidarity, and because their society is willing to fight for something.

We will never wage a successful war against them because USA is too weak in its' culture.

The culture of the warriors has passed, and we now have a culture of the wusses. No one wants to break the eggs to make an omelette, and in fact, it is apparently immoral to eat poultry.
