What's up gang. Thinking about quitting my job, moving to another state and creating full time. I figured I'd pitch this out here because a mental breakdown a couple of years ago really did a number on my social circle. Apparently that kind of thing grosses people out big time. Anyway, the benefit of complete isolation/depression is that over the years I've been able to save enough to give myself some time, but I have this nagging fear that my creativity is shot due to my extreme dysphoria. On the flip side, I have so many ideas/concepts that have yet to be rendered/recorded/etc that maybe if I just focus on a list and start hacking at it things might come back to me. I feel like I've got one more solid go in me before I'm spent and it's time catch the bus, so why not make this into a fun project?

So everybody (Tadao, ZBF), any recommendations/advice/wagers on this one? I'm thinking it's going to be a real hoot.

I've lost my shit at 18/30/and currently coming back from one. I don't mind, it's like home kind of. I'm full of ideas, but I never want to do them. I'd rather give ideas to people who want to make money, I just want to be left alone.

Currently I'm growing mushrooms. It's been good for my head. It's not for everyone, everyone has their own roads. I would never bet against you though. I think you've got something I like. Style. I only give advice to idiots, so your don't qualify. I reccomend growing mushrooms and micro dosing, if at all possible. lol

I tried to find a connect for that after doing research and figuring I didn't have a proper space to grow. I kept getting burned and then one batch made me violently ill so I figured I would just hold off until I could take matters into my own hands. THC saved me the first time and I had a really nice mushroom experience a year or so ago so I've considered acid or peyote or some kind of really heavy trip to 'snap' out of it. I have this nasty feeling like I've got a little too much downward momentum already for that to work though, so I'm leaning towards going all in on self fulfillment through my work.

DMT is not for me, but a lot of people use it to snap back. Easy recipes on youtube. Joe Rogan has a video on how to make it. That's a heavy trip though. I prefer not to have heavy trips anymore. Those are what usually screw me up. But as with anyone, you know more about what you are aiming for than anyone else.

That's just a chemical fix though, your work is what's going to keep it solid once you find ground.

Drugs are nice, but I remember being amazed at the art you made. I don't know what to tell you, maybe a trip would help. One time a bad mushroom trip made me think I was gay because I couldn't get a girlfriend. So be cautious of that.

I love your art, post it here if you do decide to pick it up more heavily. It's always a treat

and If you decide to do DMT, I highly recommend you watch videos about it. Know your goal. Stay on the 1st floor. Be in a safe environment. Have someone watch you for an hour. From what I understand, you will be on another plane altogether, but that doen't stop your body from walking out a door.

I'd love to update the site more often like I did back in the day, but I make my own games these now, and that takes up a huge amount o' time. Geez. In a year or two, it'll have been 20 years since I registered for the old i-mock ezboard forum. That's...so fucked up. We're all old now, and even just logging in again feels weird.

Not sure what made me stop in, perhaps my subconscious was reminding me that the Two Months Of Halloween was starting up. AS most of this page has indicated there is a strange sort of nostalgia here. I remember being in early highschool on this site and that seems like a lifetime away.

Not sure what I'm really trying to say other than I am excited for the Halloween features and posts.

Zomboid - Yep, 2 years away from being 20 years ago when I registered I-Mockery. Of course, it's technically 20 years old already since it actually began years earlier on Geocities... I just moved a lot of the sub-sections onto I-Mockery so they'd be in one place once I registered the domain. And yep, we're all old mummies now.

MarioRPG - I think most people who used to be on the site come back here around September 1st. If nothing else, people remember the Two Months of Halloween tradition has been going on for nearly two decades, so it's kind of ingrained in our brains as part of celebrating the season. Glad you're looking forward to the articles, cuz I have a LOT o' fun stuff planned for this season. :halloween2

This place was a huge part of my adolescence as well. Both the content provided by RoG and also the forum. You guys were my secret group of friends I could be completely honest with. We've all gone through major life changes since most users parted ways from here, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks back to the golden days of this message board with a bit of nostalgia. The community we had was made up of a diverse group of misfits and was perfect for me and the rest of us at the time.

Also yes, this is the perfect time to catch up on Twin Peaks.

I used to come here more than old social media sites. All sorts of little ones died on the way before Facebook really came and took over. I miss the shit out of those days. I stopped coming here for awhile after my friend's mom died and we both discovered it together. I kind of stayed away from the internet entirely for awhile after that.

But I kept lurking and coming back to post sometimes, and I'm glad some of us are still here.

The Metro games are super cool and atmospheric. If you can, try and get the non "redux" version of 2033. Redux changed the engine and it messed with a bunch of the really moody graphical stuff. They also redid all the voice work and it's a pretty major downgrade from the STALKERy feel of the first games voice overs.

Too late, I got them on ateam sale. I'm sure redux is fine for a person who never played it before.

Yeah it's still a great time either way, mostly hair splitting. They're weirdly cozy games, it's nice to bundle up with a coffee on a chilly night and die in soviet sewers.

I can't stop playing Fortnite and Curse of the Moon. I'm so excited for Bloodstained, this little mini game is amazing. Octopath Traveller is in a few weeks, and SMASH LOOKS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL JESUS
