Is there any like...context for this? Or were the programmers like "we need Watson to follow the player, but we're too lazy to program an AI that makes him follow you. Let's just reposition him when you're not looking"?

They were probably high one night and thought this way would be funny.

I dunno, but I could NOT stop laughing... Its for a game demo, that's all the guy says. I hope they fixed this by the actual game's launch, but if not, the game got SCARY.

I got the Jack the Ripper game. He follows you as you run. Or just stands in one spot waiting for you to start the next scene.

The story behind this is that there is no walk animation programmed in, so they improvised.

Supafly... did they just LEAVE it that way for the final release???

Well Holmes DID always say, "The game is A FOOT."

So I'm guessing Watson's reply is probably, "I love it when you talk dirty"... and from the newest Sherlock Holmes movie, I could see this actually happening, as both characters acted rather gay.
