Urban2 Dec 24th, 2003 02:26 AM

Britney Spears started off the punk scene, I mean everyone was like hey girl I'm all preppy and I hate whores. Then Britney came along and people started dressing scantilly, becoming more different, which is what punk is all about. GO BRITNEY!

Schimid Dec 24th, 2003 02:33 AM

Bennett Dec 24th, 2003 10:58 AM

Jesus... You really think Blink 182 started something? Ha... So many bands that want to be like the real punk... Ramones, Sex Pistols, and my fav Misfits *Samhain and Danzig too* started the real thing. Blink 182 is just a rip off of some emo wanna be punk shit. It is horrible, and I think all of their members should be shot in the head.

<End rant>

Royal Tenenbaum Dec 30th, 2003 01:05 AM

Yeah, everyone knows that already.

Groups who sound like each other:

Theory of a Deadman and Nickelback (aren't they on the same label or something?)
Lacuna Coil and Evanescence
Phil Collins and Dark Funeral
Ted Nugent and Manheim Steamroller

blink 182 started a fucking lot, i think they got punk more out there then green day did. without blink 182 i highly doubt there would be any of this avril lavigne, simple plan, new found glory ect bullshit.

they didn't start anything good, no. but they did start somthing. somthing horrible

ps - i love blink 182
