Webcam Problem
I just bought a 'Veo' webcam and when I try and run the program it says the webcam isn't plugged in. So I checked, and it is plugged in, then I went to their site and did what they said to and it still doesnt work :( Anybody have some ideas?

IF you havent already snag the latest drivers for it from herE:
http://www.veo.com/Advanced_Connect/drivers.asp Do you have any other devices that use USB so you can confirm the USB ports you have are working? Also are there any seria/parralell connectors (they look like an oversived video card connector) you may wanna try going that route too. Also just in case, check out the knowledge base: http://www.veo.com/Advanced_Connect/kb_tshoot.asp (if you have already been through here ignore me) Hope this is of some type of help. |
I already downloaded the latest drivers and it didnt do anything and I plugged in a MIC and a joystick and they worked fine, so teh USB ports are working :( I checked the knowledge base and it didnt help much.

When you plug in the camera does windows Pop up a message that says "New hardware found" Or anything like that?
I have a buddy who said he has the same model/make cam, i'll see if he cant let me borrow it so i can play around with it. |
It says new hardware found and all but when I start teh program to take a picture is when it says the cam can not be found.

Tried it :( It told us to go through all that in the booklet. It didnt help though :( I have basically tried everything the site has said to... I was thinking it might be some obvious thing one of you might know. :/
|
does it show up as being installed in device manager? or is it a question mark?
|
It says that it's installed and it shows up like it should in the device manager.
