If by "relatively mild" you mean "incredibly gay", then yes. During winter it gets cold enough to be miserable but not cold enough to snow, and during the summer it gets hot enough to make me sweat uncontrollably but not hot enough to make the cold water involved with activities like supersoaker wars and giant slip-n-slides not make my lips blue. Oregon sucks. :(

What temps does it go down to in your miserable state?

I'll even accept your crazy Fahrenheit scale if that's all you're familiar with. :(

Sethomas Sep 25th, 2005 10:41 PM

Indiana usually ranges from about -35° to 38° C, though it's rarely under -20°.

Pub Lover Sep 25th, 2005 10:46 PM

Yeah, that's cold. :eek

I think the -5° C it gets here is cold. :x

Esuohlim Sep 25th, 2005 11:20 PM

Speak in Fahrenheits >:

Pub Lover Sep 25th, 2005 11:24 PM

No, because it's a stupid scale. >:

Esuohlim Sep 25th, 2005 11:33 PM

IT'S STANDARD :rolleyes

Pub Lover Sep 25th, 2005 11:35 PM

Only in retard countries. ;)

relating or conforming to a thermometric scale on which under standard atmospheric pressure the boiling point of water is at 212 degrees above the zero of the scale, the freezing point is at 32 degrees above zero, and the zero point approximates the temperature produced by mixing equal quantities by weight of snow and common salt
Stupid.

relating to, conforming to, or having a thermometer scale on which the interval between the freezing and boiling points of water is divided into 100 degrees with 0° representing the freezing point and 100° the boiling point
OMG! Natural phenomena that you can see in any kitchen. :eek

I'd tell you in celcius, but I haven't used that in 10 years. :x

In winter it usually gets down to about 40-something degrees, but when you add heavy rain to that it seems a hell of a lot colder. :(

Pub Lover Sep 26th, 2005 12:39 AM

40°F is 4.4°C

It normally gets down to 23°F here, but it can get down to 5°F which isn't very cold, but the Antarctic winds sure make it seem so. :x

:faint @ Desperate Housewives season premier

Esuohlim Sep 26th, 2005 12:43 AM

All I know is that -40° is the same in both scales. :(

And the conversion equation is something really gay. >:

Yes, it is. Hence both of us hating the other's scale. ;)

God, just make a program on a scientific calculator :rolleyes

I put my scientific calculator in a blender when I left school. Plus I only have to do the conversion myself when talking to retards (like me).

I never heard a man so depressed when I told Willie about what you jerks did to his thread.

Not cool guys, not cool.

HickMan Sep 26th, 2005 06:38 AM

I think we should make a new one

Guitar Woman Sep 26th, 2005 10:39 AM

We could at least get this one to 500 pages before we trash it. :(

I left a question up for about 3 days asking if anyone had objections to me moving it.

This thread was so amazingly awful to begin with that there's really no-where for it to go but up anyway.
