This is beautiful stuff alright - the harpsichord is amazing - and this woman is incredibly talented. It's also perfect aural estrogen, FYI.

Thanks so much for posting this, Proto!

I hadn't heard of Bats for Lashes yet, but bought the album after reading this, and after the first listen, I'm very impressed.

Everybody set aside all fears of being "faggy", and give this a listen :0D

Thanks, Proto. This seems to be a good suggestion and you can bet I will definitely look out for this one.

I had never heard of her till I went to Lollapalooza this year. She puts on an awesome live show, and her music is very good. Thanks Proto for pointing this jem out.

Anybody who can't like a chick who wrote a song dedicated to her childhood crush on Daniel-San is probably a douchebag.

I just listened to this entire album on YouTube and was surprised at how much I liked it. I've never taken I-Mockery's music advise before (mostly because every time I go to YouTube I forget what I wanted to listen to when faced with the option to listen to Mega Man songs), but a song about one of my favorite movies ever got me this time.

Daniel has quickly become a favorite. Thankfully for Bat For Lashes album sales, I love the rest of the album too (Pearl's Dream, Siren's Song, and Two Planets are other favorites, though the entire album is great).

I look forward to my copy of the album (along with her previous one since that one has some good ones too) arriving in the mail.
