What if they already have attached a nuke to the top of the missile?
|
Man I hope they do. :lol
|
Im no nuclear physicist but I think our, and I believe Russia's, nukes wont go off if they are shot down. Im not sure if that is a fail-safe we put in it or if that is just how the technology works. I think it also depends on what kind of a nuke they have.
|
I bet the controls on their nuke is a rigged up mircrowave panel.
|
yah, most require a special detonation in order to properly work. Mainly because in case the missile fails and crashes you don't want it blowing up on your own cities.
They had a special on the discovery channel about that airborne anti-nuke laser system on a few months back. |

I watched something about that on futureweapons just a week or two ago. |
The best part about that sytem is that it would scatter radiation anyway.
|
HORRAY!!!! THEY LAUCHED IT AND NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! Now they have a brand new "communications satelite", only problem is they arent allowed to communicate.

"State Department spokesman Fred Lash called the launch a clear violation of Resolution 1718, adopted five days after North Korea carried out a nuclear weapons test in 2006. The U.S. will "take appropriate steps to let North Korea know that it cannot threaten the safety and security of other countries with impunity," he said in Washington after the launch."
|
Yea WTF! Where were you Japan!?!
|
Part of me keeps hoping that war will break out with North Korea.
I feel bad for that. |
I just read something interesting in the news, some journalist belives kim jong il is borrowing his policies from the movie "the mouse that roared" apparently about a small impoverished country that declared war with the US in hopes of loosing so we would be stuck paying to reconstruct thier country. Cant find it on pirate bay though.

Here in the official KCNA news of north korea, they claim that "Such behaviors can never be allowed as they are a wonton violation of the international law on free use of outer space and a smear campaign against the DPRK. "
Violated wontons? I'm sure they meant "wanton" but this is typical of press releases from the DPRK. |
Maybe it was a vile American translation error. I'm sure they sent it out in Korean with nary an error to be seen.
