Kilgore Jones takes on the World

It's a comic I've started for a school project. It will be a touching story about love, hatred and having the villain beaten up.

What a lovely style you have. :]

MLE Apr 10th, 2006 12:10 PM

Your style has gotten tons better. Once you get the hang of inking and someone colors for you, you're in great shape!

sloth Apr 10th, 2006 03:59 PM

Looking good, you've definitely improved leaps and bounds.

Guitar Woman Apr 10th, 2006 04:13 PM

Does this mean you're never gonna finish that comic about you and those other guys going to see the giant squid?

MLE Apr 11th, 2006 12:56 AM

I thought that was a 24 hour comic.

Guitar Woman Apr 11th, 2006 04:22 PM

Yeah, but I think it deserved an ending. :(

MLE Apr 11th, 2006 04:29 PM

THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS

Guitar Woman Apr 11th, 2006 04:30 PM

sorry but i can't draw for shit so i don't know anything about making comics :(

MLE Apr 11th, 2006 04:32 PM

stop trying to fit in (which will probably make you funny again) and i'll forgive you.

plus bring back some old avatars.

Guitar Woman Apr 11th, 2006 04:37 PM

When was ever I funny? :(

MLE Apr 12th, 2006 01:28 AM

before you tried to fit in, you were somewhat funny. (back when chojin called you refreshing or something of the sort)

anyways, to keep this all on topic, i think you've gotten the hang of faces, and you should try perfecting your female figure and start learning to ink yourself

Guitar Woman Apr 12th, 2006 01:33 AM

Yes, the comic.

It looks like it's gonna be great, I like your style a lot, and it's nice to see how much you've improved since the first comic you put up here. At least, the first one I saw.

MLE Apr 12th, 2006 01:35 AM

Oh, and another thing that might help you out with the female face is to make the nose smaller/thinner. you'd be surprised how much that little change can really make a face better.

Spectre X Apr 12th, 2006 02:48 AM

Thanks you guys, I'll keep that in mind. :)

MLE Apr 12th, 2006 02:19 PM

you're welcome! you should play on isketch with me sometime

Spectre X Apr 12th, 2006 06:58 PM

I wish I could draw things properly with my mouse. :(

Oh, and page two is up. :)

MLE Apr 13th, 2006 12:12 AM

i do like page two. get a wacom and play isketch with me

Spectre X Apr 24th, 2006 06:55 PM

Page three is done, and I didn't have a ruler with me when I made it, so the panels are all wonky. :(

GADZOOKS Apr 24th, 2006 07:41 PM

I think it looks swell! My only problem with it is that I don't like comic book covers where all the characters are just standing around in a group, but that's a personal problem not an artistic one. :(

the_dudefather Apr 25th, 2006 06:17 AM

great stuff

Spectre X May 3rd, 2006 03:15 PM

Thank you. Page four is up now, too.

Guitar Woman May 3rd, 2006 03:22 PM

hahaha, the look on his face when he sees the rat :lol

MLE May 3rd, 2006 08:51 PM

start inking and coloring ;o

Supafly345 May 4th, 2006 08:29 PM

Once you get down a proper style, its time to improve setting, character development, poses and features. You know, the harder stuff.
