i couldn't figure out irc, mirc, the netscape irc, or that shit trillian irc to save my life. i stick with Direct Connect... that and the good people who somehow know all the good sites to find roms at.

generally i use planetemu.net for most things...

www.oneminuteleft.com has a lot of SNES roms
www.pjroms.com has RPG roms but you need to sign up

This thread needs some attention, now. A lot of the old links don't work anymore. thenationnet.com is back up, but it's slow, and every rom I tried to download was incomplete (I only tried MAME for now). EdgeEmu is not requesting $30 donations for their hosting in order to download the majority of their games, and have a TON of popups.

Those were really the only two sites I would visit, because they were so consistent in quality. But that's gone to shit.

Number one place to go is still EmuReactor :D

My favourite romsite, what with there being in excess of 75,000 roms/isos there. Admittedly you have to join to get the isos, but not for the thousands and thousands of Nintendo and Sega roms, aswell as a few others too.
