Up-Tight

I read all of the Velvets biography today, christmas gift. Couldn't decide to put this in music or readings. Anyway, it was good, I thought the exploding Plastic section was far too long, taking half of the book. Not enough on albums 2-4. I also thought it lacked information on the members themselves. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to hear in depth about the Velvets drug habits and childhood. However, I'd reccomend it to moderate-hardcore fands of the band, although I find myself in the latter category. Other thoughts?

Have yet to read it myself. Probably will someday. Looking for a Nick Drake biography to read now though, and sadly the Winnipeg library system doesn't have one. >:

Libraries suck >: The only books my library has are New York Times Best Seller Romantic Novels or Mystery novels. It's a shitty place.

My libraries not that bad. I took out a Gram Parsons bio and Neil Youngs bio and read those. :/ Both of them were awesome.
