openCanvas!

okay, so there's this really cool program called openCanvas, and I've started playing around with it! It has networking ability and a few layers for each person. Give my a buzz on AIM to get the program if you can't find it. It's a simple .exe file called oC11b72.exe

EDIT: here's a LINK so people can download

The image logs do not contain my fabulous self-deprecation and MLE's wonderful & caring support. You'll jjust have to imagine that bit.

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 04:56 PM

I only have that 'Googlechat' thigsamajigger that comes with gmail. Plus, I'll only be free this Wednesday night.

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 05:20 PM

you totally need AIM. It's how I talk to everyone in between sessions and set up everything.

Guitar Woman Jan 14th, 2008 05:25 PM

I'll be downloading this in a few hours, yes

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 05:26 PM

excellent. one thing though. this isn't isketch. don't draw a penis unless you intend on coloring and shading it in your own section of the canvas.

Guitar Woman Jan 14th, 2008 05:28 PM

I'm not even going to attempt to draw anything, you guys are SAFE

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 05:30 PM

hahahaha ;D as long as there's an open slot and no one else wants in that'll draw, you're free to sit in and watch all you want!

PS- it's a maximum of 4 slots

Guitar Woman Jan 14th, 2008 07:25 PM

So I saved the exe to my computer and instead of letters it's displaying random characters and squares and I can't draw anything

WHY HAVE YOU SENT ME ANOTHER PHOTOSHOP ;_;

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 08:36 PM

okay to start with go to help -> English

Guitar Woman Jan 14th, 2008 08:46 PM

Send me a private message if you want to LINK UP.

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 09:23 PM

All my linking up is done through AIM originally, so get on AIM and get me on your buddy list (meowmixcity) and we'll get connected!

Fathom Zero Jan 14th, 2008 09:26 PM

Really? Hmmm... That's cool, I guess. What about Pidgin or Yahoo?

MLE Jan 14th, 2008 10:43 PM

i have pidgin. it's only a hub for other clients. I have AIM and MSN running through it.

Ugh, i remember trying out opencanvas a while ago with my friend. Now, he has a wacom and i'm stuck with a half-broken mouse. It was pretty frustrating.

MLE Jan 15th, 2008 01:42 AM

wacoms are cheap now. $100 for a bamboo wacom. I use one of those. they're not "cheap" feeling or anything. they most closely replicate the feeling of using pencil and paper out of every wacom i've tried.
