I hated it when good games had some sort of paper insert you had to own to get the game to work. I know it was done just as a means to keep you from pirating the software before the internet made such codes obsolete, but now that we wanna play these old games, it gets annoying.

I remember renting this game when I was a kid, unfortunately because I rented it, I never knew the sub code. Oh woe is me. :(

I used to have this game for NES. My Dad pretty much summed it up as "Zelda but with alot more action". I also agree this game is awesome and overdue for a remake.

I never got around to this one, but somehow I have that code for it in my head.

"Whaddaya mean I gotta put water on the note?!?"

Man, them's was the days. They never do anything interesting like that anymore. The last bit of really cool interactivity with the included game materials was in Metal Gear Solid when you had to look up Meryl's frequency on the back of the actual game case....

Why do most video games have children running around doing the dirty work? Zombies, gouls , vampires work alot better. But I guess a kid would be better at avoiding enemies than a zombie.

But anyhow, I loved the game 4 out of 5!

StarTropics kicked my face in, and then made sweet, sweet love to it. I've beaten it about 6 times. StarTropics 2 wasn't quite as memorable, but still good. I used to think Hirocon's daughter, Mica, was kind of hot. I was a strange child.
