am I missing where the big yellow "please read our rules & guidelines before posting" link that was on the main forum page went to? or did it get taken down? 'cause i really really think it's a good idea to have that thang up guys

It's still there. Stickied and everything.

i thought there was supposed to be one that linked to that thread that showed up on ALL the forums, though, not just q&s :( there seems to be a bunch of new folks who don't really get things so i'm concerned that they might not be able to spot the helpful "HOW NOT TO BE A JERK" thread

Hmmm.....sounds like we need to rearrange some stickies. As long as I've been here the only link I've seen has been the one in Questions, Suggestions, and Tech Support.

it's not even sposed to be a sticky it's supposed to be part of the skin or w/e like the links to the articles etc at the top

I just noticed that it's not there anymore either. The roundabout way of getting to it is through the FAQ next to the User CP.

I think you are automatically redirected to the page when you sign in for the first time though, if I'm not mistaken, so they have no excuse.

Maybe it wasn't put on when the new skin was added. Is it on the Bapery one? I never use it.

Not sure honestly. I know it's linked to when you first register for an account on the site, so hopefully that combined with the existing links (if you click FAQ at the top menu, you'll see it linked in there) will do.
