You should probably look at the frontpage more often. http://www.i-mockery.com/blabber/2010/08/27/today-i-lived-out-a-childhood-dream-i-got-to-hang-with-rowdy-roddy-piper/

I never look at the front page. If there's something especially interesting, it should be linked somewhere in the forums, or at least in the Articles section. I didn't sign up for the site - I signed up for the forums.

In any case, I'll go ahead and lock this to contain my apparent ignorance.

Any site articles or blog updates are automatically posted in the articles forum, so yeah, aside from being on the homepage of the site, it was promoted right here too:

It's always funny to me that there are lots of people who just come straight to the forums and never even check the homepage of the site. But hey, whatever suits your fancy :O

As I said, didn't sign up for the site. I signed up for the forums. I do check the titles of all the articles, and it auto posts for any articles and blogs. Maybe you should blog about cool stuff like that so us forum people see it!

Immediate edit: Oh, that is a blog update thing automatically generated. I guess I skimmed too fast and no one replied!

Blog updates can't be replied to actually unless you go to the blog itself. It's because of the way Wordpress works. We were able to get the forum accounts tied in with Wordpress, but couldn't get Wordpress to use the same forum threads like the custom articles do. We were able to get it to create separate threads that link back to the original blog posts so people on the forums at least know whenever there is one though.

Ah, that sucks. I sure wish you could get it tied in.

Haha, well it's not like it really requires much effort on your part if you wanna participate in the blog discussions. It's just a click away, not a walk 30 miles down the road :P
