Well, if it means anything, I hate Half-Life and think Halo is a bit above average.
I'm interested to see which game will do better, though. If you had another powerhouse like a GTA game or a Final Fantasy with a new installment, this would be the most interesting month ever. |
oh yea, I reserved my copy of HL2 at my local games shop today :) . should be able to pick it up on my way back from college on tuesday (wootowotoowtowoyayayayayay). Only problem is i forgot to tell them which version i want so i guess it will have to wait and see.
I got MOHH PA today so that should keep me occipied until then. I am not very impressed with PA, it has alot of scrpited events which are cool and there are some nice graphics (dx9 shaders are looking good) but the implementation of havoc is somewhat lacking and the firefights seem kind of uninspired (so far). Roll on HL2. |
we will all have to play cs: source come tueday (unless youve got a steam pre/cracked version in which case you can play it now)
cs_office all the way!!! anyway, im going down at 9am and forgetting about my client side web development lecture (in which we were forced to watch the star wars episode 3 trailer multiple times last week by the lecturer :lol) |
yea i already have it. Fun stuff but i am looking forward to DOD source more.
|
holy crap, like 1 day 8 hours left.
if they delay this in th uk until friday (the typical release day for games), heads will roll. (my own most likely) |
Yea i was worried they might not release it till friday but i asked in the shop and they said it should definatly be available on tuesday as its such a high profile release.
|
:party :party :party :party
starting tuesday i will be wearing my half-life 2 tshirt until the day i die (or when it starts to smell) |
saw a tv ad for it during the simpsons :) novenmber 16th is a go....
its wierd seeing an ad for a pc game which isnt published by EA |

I think i might skip the last hour or two of college tuesday, i dont fancy waiting till 5:30 and risking the shop bieng shut. |
23 hours 16 mins remaining!
holy shit guys. Its close. |
7 hours 23 mins and counting...
anyway, went down to game today turns out the uk isnt getting the collectors edition in store at the moment (at least as far as the manager told me) becuase vivendi doesnt like valve or something (age old dispute), ayway, got the retail pre-ordered and will pick that up at 9am tomarrow. and i REALLY wanted a half-life 2 t-shirt. (goes and drowns sorrows in donuts) |
If it's released in UK earlier, then I better get it :eek
|
I wish I had a good computer to play it :(. YES. METALMILITIA. I LIKE HALF-LIFE. SHOVE IT UP YOUR CUNT.
|
The other game that uses the source engine (Vampire The Masquerade Bloodline) is out tomorrow too. Looks pretty good, i think its an non linear RPG style fps. With lots of character development and whatnot.
|
yeah it looks prety cool, i may get it in the not too distant future
|
Rat club! :D |
