I reccomend Ninja Scroll. If you can get past the mediocre acting and the fact that there aren't any ninjas or even any scrolls in it then it's a really fucking awesome samurai flick.

I think my favorite was the fight with the blind samurai in the bamboo forest, that part was bonkers :<
