Black Flag Apr 4th, 2007 05:32 PM

EisigerBiskuit Apr 4th, 2007 07:55 PM

GADZOOKS Apr 4th, 2007 07:57 PM

hahahaha :(

May I suggest a new game after we all run out of Earthbound?

Zomboid Apr 4th, 2007 07:58 PM

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Whaddaya have in mind?

Fathom Zero Apr 4th, 2007 08:36 PM

The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang?

Oh, and Digital Devil Story is very good.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AY2QR76K (couldn't find an English rom, but I had one.)

Especially if you like the more offbeat RPGs.

Out with it, Gadz.

Cliff Steele Apr 4th, 2007 08:45 PM

i would definently like to join in on that one, are there any snes emulators that offer decent online play? i would like to get a group together to play secret of mana :O

Fathom Zero Apr 4th, 2007 08:55 PM

ZSNES allows for 2 people to play.

I'm sorry I can't find much else. As soon as there is functionality for more than two people in ZSNES, there'll be more online multiplayer.

Cliff Steele Apr 4th, 2007 09:23 PM

i think this would work with more than 2 people? I was looking through online emulators and found http://kaillera.com/, it appears to be able to support quite a few people. We should try this out. I won't be able to until at least tommorow though

Fathom Zero Apr 4th, 2007 09:31 PM

Freakin' awesome, man. Can't wait.

I've been playing a bit of Pulseman lately. I wasn't into it at first, but when I stopped playing it like I would Megaman things got a whole lot more fun.

Zomboid Apr 4th, 2007 10:51 PM

So which game are we gonna play next? That devil one?

Fathom Zero Apr 4th, 2007 11:18 PM

It's a single-player RPG, though.

Then again, so is Earthbound.

kahljorn Apr 4th, 2007 11:27 PM

OGRE BATTLE MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN is a good game that takes forever to beat ;o and tactics ogre on snes but i liked it better on playstation.
tactics ogre is a really good game i liked it maybe better than FFT, but the job system in fft is way better.

EisigerBiskuit Apr 4th, 2007 11:40 PM

We should multiplay DK2 because there are monkeys!

kahljorn Apr 5th, 2007 01:31 AM

tales of phantasia for the snes is also one of the best rpgs out there.. and the dragon quest games for the snes.

noob3 Apr 5th, 2007 02:30 AM

i wanna play

timrpgland Apr 5th, 2007 03:53 AM

The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang?
OH no you didn't! dammit Fathom... I hate being social.

kahljorn Apr 5th, 2007 05:02 AM

star ocean one is also really good ;o
and you can get star ocean 2 for the PS emulators and it works pretty well as far as ive seen.

GADZOOKS Apr 5th, 2007 05:37 AM

I was going to suggest Super Castelvania but yeah it seems like RPGs best fit this game :(

The only RPG I have beat is Super Mario RPG and pokemon blue :x :x :x

Esuohlim Apr 5th, 2007 11:57 AM

Now that I think about it I haven't beat very many RPGs either. Sure I always get to the last boss, but if I don't beat him in two tries I just get bored and say "well it's the end anyway" :(

GADZOOKS Apr 5th, 2007 12:40 PM

They are my least favorite genre by far, Earthbound just does a lot of things right that makes it playable to me. :(

timrpgland Apr 6th, 2007 09:06 PM

I don't think it really has to be rpgs.

Zomboid Apr 6th, 2007 09:18 PM

YES IT DOES, RPGBOY!!!!! That or longer adventure games like link to the past or something. Kinda dumb to get everyone to play some platformer or something and they're done in a few hours.

executioneer Apr 6th, 2007 09:28 PM

well we could also multiplay some fight game tournaments or somesuch

killer instinct anyone

timrpgland Apr 6th, 2007 09:49 PM

Fighting game would be good. I haven't played Killer Instinct in a long time. A capcom or snk game would be more my style but I don't really care.
