I think I have improved a bit

Before anyone says "Don't draw in Flash, do it in Photoshop", I need to say this. I will do the best with what I have. I cannot afford PS, so I need to make do. That being said, tell me what you think of this latest drawing with my tablet. I know it needs some work, but I think I have improved since last time.

My. God. That is the best piece of fan art I have ever laid eyes on. You, sir, are an accomplished artist!

AChimp Dec 11th, 2004 07:59 PM

Downloading stuff is free. :rolleyes

Guitar Woman Dec 11th, 2004 08:10 PM

Yeah, but it's goat's drawing style.

GADZOOKS Dec 11th, 2004 08:34 PM

Turn up your speakers people, you are in for a spooky treat.

The Damp Moose Dec 11th, 2004 10:59 PM

The left side of his face looks a lot more...angular. And the nose looks a little odd. It looks like it has an extra hole.

Guitar Woman Dec 11th, 2004 11:33 PM

Yeah, but if you move your mouse over it then it will look normal. :/

FS Dec 12th, 2004 12:22 PM

Pretty good. That kind of style would probably score well on Newgrounds.

Immortal Goat Dec 12th, 2004 01:11 PM

Here's a better version that I just finished.

The Damp Moose Dec 12th, 2004 06:36 PM

:lol The hair and the hat took an exta second to load (fucking dial-up) so for a second there he looked an awful lot like a pointy-eared skin-head.

Supafly345 Dec 12th, 2004 06:54 PM

Every drawing should, and does look better. I found that when drawing in flash that long quick strokes looks best. Many smaller strokes makes it look like it was drawn with a blotchy pen.

Immortal Goat Dec 12th, 2004 07:56 PM

Well, I am glad that it is good enough to not warrent verbal abuse. I do use shorter strokes, but then I go over the blotches with my eraser and then smooth them all. Seems to work okay for me.

You have improved a bit.

Matt Harty Dec 13th, 2004 05:00 PM

Just get off the Link thing, at least move to other Zelda characters.

Immortal Goat Dec 13th, 2004 06:12 PM

Well, actually, I am working on a character model for a Zelda movie I am making, so that is what is up with all the Link stuff. I'm eventually going to do Ganondorf, Ganon, Old Man, Zelda, henchmen, and Nayru, along with some other characters and environments. Trust me, it will be good.

Dole Dec 14th, 2004 12:15 PM

Er...how about something you made up yourself? Isnt that going to be a bit more rewarding/worthwhile?

Immortal Goat Dec 14th, 2004 12:20 PM

Eventually, I plan on doing that. For the moment, I am doing this so I can perfect my own animation style. That way, when I start the series I have in mind, my movies will all look nice and crisp.

Helm Dec 14th, 2004 01:59 PM

old man is a bastard

Immortal Goat Dec 14th, 2004 08:55 PM

Well, technically, it isn't THAT old man, but it is kinda patterned after him (long beard, red robe), but he is actually more like a storyteller. He introduces the movie at the beginning and concludes it.
