I thought Quest 64 was decent. Why didn't you like it?

Emu Jan 6th, 2008 07:12 PM

because it's trendy to hate Quest 64

Spetsnaz Jan 6th, 2008 07:14 PM

To be honest, I didn't think that many people even remembered Quest 64.

i don't have to pay to come here though, and the idiot ratio is slightly further from 99% as well

Quest 64 was boring and uninspired. I can't think of many games I really hate, there were a couple on the NES... what was that one the boat called

It was COBRA TRIANGLE!!

Emu Jan 6th, 2008 08:12 PM

jaws?

That game was awful on every system it was on, not just PSX.

halfthecottonbros Jan 6th, 2008 10:29 PM

Ive only played it on PS1.

These are in no order, my hate is as impartial as a mother's love.

Bart vs. The Space Mutants
- I spent so long playing this game as a kid, and I FINALLY got to the second level and got sucked up by the wet cement over and over and over and over.

Altered Beast - It's one of those games that I feel like I'd really like if it just controlled a little better. Every single time I play the game I forget that a crouching kick goes vertical, and every single time I am OUTRAGED.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Fuck this game and if you like it, fuck you. I know tons of people that like and own this game, and I don't understand why. It's the most frustrating thing I've ever played.

Silent Hill 4: The Room -
I'm a really big fag for the Silent Hill series, so when I realized that the second half of the game is a giant escort mission, I was pissed. When I realized that there were FLAMING SEETHING GHOSTS that you couldn't kill, I was pissed. And during a particularly painful sequence in which you had to escort a badly injured woman up a haunted escalator, I threw my controller into my wall.

Any Old-School FPS -
Doom, Quake, Marathon, pretty much anything. I realize I didn't exactly grow up with it, but all of the textures look exactly the same and I end up either getting lost or sick or bored before I even finish a level.

I'd also like to add a special achievement award for any video game community ever, as I hate each and every last one of them.

EDIT - By the way, fuck you guys, that Sub-Zero game was awesome.

Spetsnaz Jan 6th, 2008 10:31 PM

I had it for N64. Needless to say, they dropped the ball.

Chojin Jan 7th, 2008 04:52 AM

the "3 words per post" game

RaNkeri Jan 7th, 2008 05:11 AM

I haven't really played bad games, 'cos almost all the games me and my friends had were kick ass. Although there were Cliffhanger and Bart vs. Spacemutants, which we all hated.

Oh and NES/SNES Super Marios. Although they have nice graphics and are over all great games etc., the games are repeative as hell. And the music ain't that great either, atleast after you've gotten used to those in Sonic games.

EDIT: Oh and I mean Megadrive Sonic games, not these later fucked up ones.

I don't follow you. How don't you like Super Mario Bros 3? :(

RaNkeri Jan 7th, 2008 04:51 PM

It's a good game, I've beaten it. But the problem for me was that at some point of the game it got boring. Both music and gameplay wise.

But then again, I had a Megadrive. And didn't really get to enjoy NES/SNES games until I started using emulators. So my point of view could be different if I would have actually played Mario games back in the early 90s.

Fathom Zero Jan 7th, 2008 04:53 PM

I can't see how Goemon's Great Adventure or Megaman Legends could possibly be considered bad.

Spetsnaz Jan 7th, 2008 05:39 PM

I remember Cliffhanger the game had nothing to do with Cliffhanger the movie...

MattJack Jan 7th, 2008 06:27 PM

Guitar Hero.
DDR.
Dynasty Warriors.
Mortal Kombat for the Sega.
MMORPGS.

Zomboid Jan 7th, 2008 06:30 PM

Ok fuck yallz!

Altered beast, OLD SCHOOL FPS GAMES, quest 64, goemon, and sub zero mythology all kicked ass.

Sub zero mythologies was pretty weak in some areas but if you were a kid when it came out like most of you most assuredly were, you were a fag if you didn't at least enjoy it for the gore.

I didn't enjoy it because it got almost fucking impossible to beat after the third or fourth missions.

Yes.

I want that game but I can't find it anywhere and ebay is expensive. ;_;

Girl Drink Drunk Jan 7th, 2008 08:29 PM

BATMAN FOREVER

Sam Jan 7th, 2008 09:22 PM

LAST ACTION HERO. >:

But seriously it's unfair to put video games based on movies in these kinds of lists because video games based on movies usually suck pretty much 95% of the time. :(
