Zune 2.2
 

I think I may be the only person who owns one, but the zune 2.2 firmware update dropped today. It upgraded all zunes to match the newest ones. The only thing I've noticed is that the album pictures have gotten all screwy on the software. Most all mixed up and some even repeated.

I own a Zune and I'm proud of it. I haven't downloaded the new software yet due to me losing the USB cable and not wanting to go out and buy a new one because i'm lazy.

Well until they patch it, don't. This is a huge problem according to the zune.net forums.

May I ask you a question guys? What is Zune you are talking about?
I would like to know since I saw many people like you talking about it. I'm very curious.

Going against what I was told earler in this thread, I updated my Zune software and to my surprise it doesn't recognize my Zune as being connected. The battery will charge via the USB but everytime my computer tries to install the software (which I already manually installed) it fails and says that I need to contact the device manufacturer. Stupif fucking Zune software.

It does that to me too but it still syncs for some reason.

Do you mean that it says that it's not connected but when you click on the synch button it actually works?

Also, do you have a first gen Zune?
