EDIT: Sorry if'n I'm late to the game on this one, but my general disgust with the people in charge has caused me to pay less attention to the news than I once did.

so there was a photo-op at a fund raiser, so what? my grandfather has had 3 pictures with the president, but he doesn't claim that he KNOWS him.

Did your grandfather raise millions for the Republican party? Did your grandfather arrange trips and lavish gifts on Republican congressmen and senators?

There's a big difference between claimin not to know someone and publicly, categorically denying having ever even met them.

It kind of looks like they're holding hands right under where the photo is cropped.



I'm just saying.

I've seen this photo on a few sites already, and I've seen a few points raised which suggest that this might even be a photoshop. I don't really care one way or the other about whether or not Bush knew Abramoff, but people are too willing to accept this at face value.

From what I've been able to find so far, the pic is legit.

See, I do care if he knew him, because he flat-out said that he didn't. Which would mean that he was lying. Again.
