Does anyone have Fartin's email address?

Fartin had given me his Steam login and password on facebook. When I installed the Orange Box retail version, it automatically attached itself to his account, I guess bacause his was to last one I had used. Well now his Steam account isn't working, and he also seems to have left facebook. Does anyone have any way to contact him, please? I need my fuckin Portal!

Fartin better not have deleted his account after he agreed not to when I explained to screwup to him >:

I just PMed it to you, but I don't know how old it is so there's a chance it could be defunct.

Thanks! I'll let you know if it worked or not.

I was just talking to Fartin on Steam, he said he'd give you the account back in a few days. You might be able to coax him into giving it back sooner though.

Thanks guys! Everything's taken care of. And Milhouse, yes the email worked, in case you case you wanted to know.

I admit I missed the backstory for all this, but wouldn't it be easier to just register your own Steam account?

I do have my own steam. The orange box attached itself to his since it happened to be the last one I used when I installed it. So now I guess it's our Orange Box. There may be a way to disattach the product code from his so that I can then put it on mine, but I haven't searched yet. And anyway it's not like Fartin didn't give me an ASSLOAD of free games when he gave me his passsword, so being all "no you cannot play my orange box anymore fag lol" wouldn't sit very well with my conscience, especially since the OB has games he'd probably like judging from what he already bought. My main concern was that he didn't inadvertently cut me off from games that I paid for when he changed the password on me. But it's all cleared up now. :)

I doubt there is any way of separating the games from the account. Though you could e-mail Valve support and they might be able to sort something out.
