The sad thing is my grandmother told me about this the other day like it was a sure sign of the end-times. All she does is read tabloid news like it's the Bible - while lurking behind her old lady floral curtains and screaming at the paper-boy that she's got a loaded .45 sighted on him in case he tries any "funny business". She's pretty much convinced that the world outside her house is Mad Max without the civility.

Nah, the pirate thing, she won't acknowledge the existence of anything that uses the word "period" openly in its TV advertising.
