Favorite MST3K Episodes.
 

Considering TV is utter shit nowadays, and the only thing I look forward to is the Venture Brothers on Saturdays. So I've been watching MST3K episodes from my tape collection. I have come to one episode that I liked the best.

Overdrawn At The Memory Bank

For some reason I love this episode. I mean Raul Julia, dopples, baboons, all tied together in a casblanca remake. 95% of the refrences I got, and all of them are hilarious. A truely great bashing of a truely terrible film.

Right now Im downloading a MST3K episode of Earth Vs. Thespider! Am I the only one who thinks thast odd seeinig as how its a faitly new movie?

The most current movie they did was Future War (1997) followed by Merlin's Shop (1996).

There was a TV movie in (2001) call Earth Vs. The Spider, but considering that MST3K was cancelled in 1999, it is not that film.

Car chase scenes filmed in confuseo vision

A while back when I got my season 2-10 collection, I started watching them from 201 on, in order. I had to stop when school started :( I got half way through season 3, so i'm like barely even to the end.

204 Catalina Caper - Season 2 is pretty mediocre as far as MST3K goes, but the fun movies make it better. The Biker movies I think are at least fun to watch.

212 Godzilla vs. Megalon - So fucking good. This is one of the best episodes ever, and it only gets recognition passively when people say "The godzilla & gamera ones are good." This episode would be up there with Manos and Mitchell if only it were able to be released on home video.

301 Pod People - This is probably my favorite episode ever. The movie is my favorite kind of cheese, The host segments are really dumb but they are hillarious, and the song at the end is fantastic. To me this episode is a fucking masterpeice. I've watched it more than any other episode and it never gets old.

306 Time of the Apes - This episode ALWAYS stuck in my mind as a favorite, I can remember watching it at midnight on comedy central. I used to never be able to stay up till the end, I'd usually fall asleep after the first half hour.

307 Daddy-O - I remember this one always being referenced as being great, but I hadn't seen it untill I got the DVD set of seasons 2-10.

309 The Amazing Colossal Man - FUCK Season 3 had so many great episodes. It was always my favorite season, at least on a nostalgic level. It just has this feel to it that feels MOST like MST3K. I have the Rhino video of this which is kinda rare.

311 It Conquered the World - This one was so fucking fun. This was the first episode I watched when I moved to college, before my classes started. :(

312 Gamera vs. Guiron - I'm not that big a fan of the Gamera movies, but this one is the best one, and an amazing episode. Probably just from how goofy the movie is.

yeah season 3 was totally the best :( it would be so awesome if they had a season 3 dvd with the split in half episodes they put on regular tv with the mike nelson as jack perkins segments :(

I only ever saw those jack perkins segments once ever ;_;

Stranded in Space is an episode i didn't think stood out very much laugh-wise but i loved the movie so i almost included it ;_;

Space Mutiny, Pod People and Cave Dwellers are definitely my favourite.

Zombie Nightmare and Deathstalker ("Potatoes are what we eat!") are also pretty damn funny.

Zombie Nightmare rocks. Love it when they start screaming about that guy in his underwear.

Stranded in Space has the best intro, ending and end credits sequence of any MST3k I've seen. The riffing and host segments are kind of off but I love "ooh hoh that's some good smack!"

Monster A-Go-Go is another great one, if only for the last 20 minutes. It's the kind of episode that's the most fun to talk about with your friends and tell other people about but that's not that fun to watch. :(

Pod People has been a total cunt to find on the internet so I still haven't seen it.
