I-MOCKERY ZOMBIE WALK ON CSI: NY TONIGHT!
Be sure to watch CSI: NY tonight (10pm) for the "Boo" episode. I was asked to organize a zombie walk for it and Re, Dr. Boogie and I were both in it among others. You might see us walking around during the episode. She was a zombie kid with big pink hair, pajamas and a teddy bear. I was a zombified boy scout from troop 666. Dr. Boogie was in it as a zombie farmer.

I know I'm watching.
EDIT: Very cool, you got some decent over-the-shoulder time. |
Troop number insignia goes over the shoulder, stupid head.
Actually, the city in which I abide has a long-standing zombie walk tradition. That would be Bloomington, Indiana. I don't really participate because I'm lame. |
please tell me somebody's putting this on youtube

RE's getup is godly.

|
Spotted Re in the background of one of those shots- Not sure about Rog, but he's not wearing a big pink wig to spot.
|
The guy next to Re in that shot (behind the actor [edit- Gary Sinise, apparently. I feel s00pid]) is almost definitely Rog. You can make out the hat and neckerchief.
Edit: I'm helpful with piccies! |
In a big dolley away shot, Rog is there looking confused. It lasts like, 10 seconds, don't know if it's in that clip, but I'm not going to be bothered to check.
|
Wow, Rog, that's like totally your shoulder in that pic! It's like you're famous now!
|
Heheh, actually there were much better close-up shots of us when Gary Sinise walks between through the police line into the crime scene at about 6:45 in the episode. You can see us both clear as day. You can also see Re and I walking onto the street in one o' the top-down shots of the actual zombie walk right around 6:27 into the episode. There's another brief shot around 12:23. Not sure about any other parts of the episode as I haven't seen it all yet.
Anywho, here's a link to the full episode (better quality than what you'll see on Youtube): http://alpha.cbs.com/primetime/csi_ny/recaps/ep406/ |
So how does one get a Zombie Walk togeather? I ask as I want to get one togeather for Bakersfield on Christmas Eve/Christmas Morning but I honestly have no idea how to go about pulling something like this off. If you can share any tips or advice that would be great. The few people I've talked to here in town are all for it, but none of us have ever done this before. We want to do this Because Bako did absolutely nothing for Halloween and it would be funny as hell to wake up on Christmas only to see on the news that Zombies have taken over Downtown.

Or, y'know, make some flyers one or two months ahead of time to start recruiting. |
right on.

Excuse the size of the image, but here are some nice big screen captures my friend Scott took from the CSI Walk.

I was reffering to the fourth pic from the bottom.

came here from the 'making a ZOMBIE movie' forum... perfect.
stray thoughts? yes, we have zombie-walk day here too. ottawa zombies, 05, 06 07... it's been u-tubed. ott zombie, know as OZ to me. yes, I'm still editing the (zombie) movie I made. it's been a horror story. 1080i HD needs corel re-leaded, or something like that. cinelerra didn't. what i wrote, then shot, then scraped off the floor to make the film with were all different stories. count on a u-tuber, TV and HD version being left over. the first mistakes was using family, friends and work volenteers. do forums count? packrat |
you went from NYC to LA to end up on CSI NY.
