Maybe not the best ever, but clearly the best in Philadelphia. For sheer humor value.

The Chicken is probably the best ever, but didn't Pete Rose don the costume during a WWE pay-per-view? Anyway, here's my favorite mascot:

I've seen him play beer pong with tailgaters. Plus, he has a different uniform for each sport he attends.

The chicken visited Philadelphia once very long ago, when I was just a lad. He and the Phanatic were to have a "battle of the mascots". My family actually saw one of the games where they figuratively "duked it out".

The result?

The chicken won, hands down.

But we still love the Phanatic. :love

The Chicken and the Phanatic are iconic mascots that appeal to everyone regardless of team affiliation. The Phanatic is just ridiculous looking but in my book is number 2 right behind the Chicken.

:lol that was great. I love how he struggles to get back up and sort of wabbles away.
