quick question.

what do infractions earn you? a prize perhaps?

Esuohlim Dec 16th, 2008 07:11 PM

The more you earn the better it is! :eek

fluffkomix Dec 16th, 2008 07:18 PM

seriously.

and stop giving me them, Esuohlim!

Mockery Dec 16th, 2008 07:22 PM

I just reversed your latest infraction actually, because there was no real reason for it.

fluffkomix Dec 16th, 2008 08:02 PM

why thank you

TAKE THAT ESUOHLIM!!!

fluffkomix Dec 16th, 2008 08:04 PM

and no one has actually answered me yet...

Mockery Dec 16th, 2008 08:35 PM

They're simply warnings to you, the user, to let you know that something you did was against the rules. Most of the time, said warnings are warranted, so pay attention to 'em.

Esuohlim Dec 16th, 2008 08:51 PM

Hey if you think a thread called "fingerless gloves" containing content merely saying "are awesome!" isn't considered excessive then that's your call

Mockery Dec 16th, 2008 09:14 PM

indeed it is :picklehat

Tadao Dec 16th, 2008 09:19 PM

No

Tadao Dec 16th, 2008 09:25 PM

You should have your nose rubbed in that thread!

fluffkomix Dec 16th, 2008 10:07 PM

im sure if i did that my nose would be colored brown

fluffkomix Dec 17th, 2008 02:13 AM

so, in essence, if i get an infraction, and then i do it again, i can get banned, but on the other hand, if i get an infraction, it expires, and then i do it again a second later, then i can get away with it again, just so long as they dont believe im just doing it to bullshit thru the rules?

executioneer Dec 17th, 2008 04:32 AM

actually i think it depends on the severity of the infraction, if they're still using the same system they were before

You know, you should try and find out. I'm sure Esuohlim will aid you in your research. :\

fluffkomix Dec 17th, 2008 11:15 AM

wouldn't be surprised. he sure does like giving them out

I think that incurring infractions and then pestering the good authority figures here about it is sort of akin to making sure the kindling is neatly stacked around your own stake for maximum oxygenation.

fluffkomix Dec 17th, 2008 05:29 PM

also how old does a thread have to be before its considered bumping it?

Kitsa Dec 17th, 2008 05:36 PM

The sooner you learn that it's entirely at the whim of those in control, the better.

You might as well tap politely on your marine drill instructor's shoulder and ask why he wants you to do pushups.

Tadao Dec 17th, 2008 05:54 PM

Just ask yourself. Is this information useful or funny?

pac-man Dec 17th, 2008 08:25 PM

I'd much rather try my limits with a moderator than a drill instructor. :\

Go nuts, Fluffy. Bump the oldest thread you can find with a response that only contains an emote. Create threads aplenty. It's your world, squirrel.

Esuohlim Dec 18th, 2008 01:41 AM

It depends on how much I like the thread. >:

For example, don't bump the manga thread unless you want to see a fit of rage

fluffkomix Dec 18th, 2008 04:41 PM

got it thanks

Esuohlim Dec 18th, 2008 05:33 PM

I hate all threads, by the way
