Webcam and Microphone
 

I'm looking for a microphone and webcam I can ask for for my birthday. I've never looked into either before, but now that my japanese is improving, live conversation with her makes me a little less nervous.

Can you suggest any microphones or webcams that are very good quality, but not too expensive (sounds like a paradox, I know)?
